ROTLD remake coming

Says Arrow. I always liked the first two Return of the Living Dead flicks, but do we really need a remake?

Man, if they keep it coming like that, there won't be many classic horror movies left to remake. *shudder*

I wonder when we'll see remakes of Dead Alive, Prom Night and Candyman.

I hate Hollywood....

Apparently it's coming from the same producers of NECROPOLIS. Which means the budget will be $5.

On the subject of remakes, I've gotta say that all of this shit goes in one ear and out the other, really not worth getting upset about.

I have no interest whatsoever in this movie after watching Necropolis. We still have Rave from the Grave coming to continue the series' downward spiral, anyways.

So stupid. ROTLD is a period piece. It's the same scenario as every other zombie film (We're under siege! Everybody panic!).

this is ridiculous, the original is just as great now as it ever has been. anyone heard anything about the evil dead remake? thats pretty stupid too : /

The existing DVD is actually pretty well packed. Considering the price, I'm surprised how much material is on there now. I don't need them churning out worthless, multiple editions with cute names like "Send More Paramedics Edition".

Return of the Dead will not be tarnished by a remake. To me, all this means is that there's another zombie movie that's gonna hit theatres, this time with a sense of humor. How is this bad news?

You haven't seen Necropolis, I take it.

ROTLD has the best pair of tits I have ever seen in any movie-ever. Yes, even Phobe Cates rack in Fast Times.

Exactly. With precious few exceptions, the recent wave of remakes are about as impactful as a DVD double dip release.
