Dracula was Chinese?

It's a Miike horror film about vampires. What's not to like.

I was under the impression that the second one had nothing to do with Miike. Or vampires.

Does this share any similarities with "Phone"?

I think this thread is haunted by the drowned ghost of long-haired Asian girl... Bobblemonkey, we're doomed.

I got a PM that was like this too, with the ASCII shit and, I'm assuming, a joke about me being racist. I'm seriously perplexed by this poster and the utter contextual 180. When I typed that post you quoted, I did so as I was stating it aloud.

It's been awhile since I've seen the first one but I don't recall anything about vampires. It's pretty much just Miike doing a commercial J-horror film. Except for the ending, it could've been directed by anyone else doing the same kind of movie in the last 10 years.

Americans love to embrace people of other lands, and I am An American. However, it was your curious use of the word 'timorous' that prompted my initial response, not the film in question. This response contained a typographical error that changed the location of my geographical query and, subsequently, the context of your posts quite dramatically. My obfuscation, I must confess, has been downgraded to apathy, so I must apologize for wasting your time.

As an offering of peace, might you be interested in some nice, warm blankets?

I had no idea there was a sequel to 'One Missed Call' out there. The first was pretty good, but had one of the worst endings of any horror movie I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot, as J-Horror is known for it's gawdawful endings.

The American remake is crewing up in the Atlanta area as we speak.

Part 3 is opening later this month across Asia, I think.
