Those will be the last hard media formats... video on demand is going to take hold. Some company is going to release an HD ipod like device for storing HD movies, and it's all over.
Many will resist it, because they like the feel of hard media. But it'll just be a matter of time before they'll feel like dinaosuars still clutching their 45s, and give in.
Granted, this wont happen for another 5 years... and it'll take another 5 before it's common place. But it's happening already.
