Well, hopefully my refunds will come through. I swear, EBAY has become a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I called four or five local stores. I am not kidding, at least three people audibly laughed at me and said there was no way they had that rare of a title.

I figure I can always sell it myself if I end up not caring for it.

While it's an interesting article, the author lacks evidence for his argument. I'm not trying to defend Sony, but can he prove that they forced stores to neglect the Dreamcast?

True, but at this point I'd place the burden of proof on Sony to disprove the allegations (which don't seem terribly unreasonable).

I understand if you guys don't want to buy a PSP, but the Power Stone Collection (29.99) comes out in Oct. for it and has 1 & 2 with local multiplayer (ad hoc). I know that none of us will be able to get any of our friends to buy a copy, so it's good that Capcom is including the single UMD transfer thingy (where they download part of the game through ad hoc), so you can force them to try it, if they at least have a PSP.

I went through the trouble of re-buying a used Dreamcast and had to go through 5 different copies of Power Stone 2 (ordering them used through the mail, and then sending them back each time), and never got a copy that would work (Power Stone 1 works still though). So I'm very excited about the collection coming to PSP.

You guys may want to wait if you're considering buying a PSP, because a re-design may be coming out this X-mas, for the same price as the old one, but with more memory and bells n whistles etc...But the PSP finally has some great games coming this fall- Loco Roco, Power Stone Collection, Metal Slug Collection, GTA Vice City Stories, various Capcom Collections, WTF (maybe), Killzone: Liberation (maybe), Every Extended Extra, Lumines II, Metal Gear Portable Ops (maybe), Gitaroo Man Lives! (maybe), Traxion (maybe), Burnout 5. I should mention that the PSP has a handful of good games already also.

And now Sony owes me a paycheck. Sorry to sound like such a shill.

And yes my PSP has some dead pixels, but I only see them during the beginning black load screen. They never appear while playing a game or movie. Other than that it works perfectly and I've never had a problem. I've only been upset with the lack of games, that I would be interested in, over the last 10 months or so, but that seems to be changing.

Sorry for such a long PSP post in the Dreamcast thread. I also loved Soul Caliber, Virtua Fighter 3 (?), Toy Commander, and Power Stone 1 & 2 for the system, and tried tons of others. I used to get that official Dreamcast magazine with demos.

Yes, and it will probably retail for 600.00. I'll buy a used PSP when they cost 75 bucks and UMDs are 99 cents each.

I don't play multi-player on portable gaming systems....if I want a multi-player, it will be when I'm drunk and have some friends over, and we will want to play on a real television. I don't see how a game like Powerstone or Super Smash Bros. would work on a portable anyway. Now, maybe it would be great, but those seem like games that require a fairly big screen to see all the details.
