The "Differences in DVD Editions" Thread

I haven't found anywhere that will simply line up two DVD editions and give us all the specific differences between, say, the Theatrical Edition and the Unrated/Director's/Extended edition. With all the DVD collectors here, I figured we'd be up for a fairly comprehensive thread where we submit our DVD comparisons to help each other out. Unfortunately, there's no way to alphabetize it, but the thread can still be useful with a quick Ctrl+F, or your Mac equivalent. I'm only talking about differences between the actual cuts of the film, not special features, but if somebody wants to go that extra mile, have at it.

I'm at work, so I can't submit any lineup just yet, but I'll throw it out there for the rest of you to get it rolling before I forget this idea. When I get home I'll get cracking on some of my extended cuts if nobody's else has snatched them up.

If you want far more information than you'll ever need:

http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/compare.htm

The site is a fucking mess, but the comparisons are about as comprehensive as you can get.

Also, http://www.dvdcompare.net. It's more towards differences in extra features and aspect ratios, but they often list added/modified scenes for many DVDs. And of course the Alternate Versions section on IMDb.

EDIT: Responding to Egg

Trying to find things there physically hurt. It's a shame the place isn't nicer-looking, because for the films they actually have, they are comprehensive. Not a great selection, though.

I like how wrong you are.

Not a great selection? Didn't you just contradict yourself by saying it's comprehensive?

The descriptions of the movies are comprehensive. The list of movies on that site is not.

I also pointed out that I had trouble navigating that mess, so if there are more movies that I missed, oops. It was an appreciated suggestion worth checking out, but not what I wanted.

But thanks for the response?

I beg to differ. Tooze's list of movies, which is easily accessible from the top is worthwhile and intense. Plus, Rosenbaum is a fairly regular contributor, and that column he occasionally writes is worth its weight in gold. Or something.

Although I do agree the site needs to be streamlined a bit, but for what it is, I'll gladly take that over the barren silliness of dvdcompare.com.
