DVD Empire Shipping

Anyone know how fast they send out DVD's on pre-orders? Do they send them out on the release date? I'm just nervous because of this- "Ships when stock arrives."

In my experience they usually send them out either a day before the release date or the date of.

Best of luck. What exactly are you ordering from them? I always get my boxsets/television sets from them... they seem to have sales on them from time to time.

Awesome. I've gotten a few Criterions from DVD Empire as well. No problems with the orders, so far.

Most if not all of the pre-orders I have made form DVDEmpire have shipped out on the Friday before the street date. As a result, the DVDs get to my house either on Monday or Tuesday.

There's always the chance that they won't have received enough copies to fulfill all the pre-orders. Or maybe not even get the DVD in their warehouse before the streetdate.

We just wanted to let you know that this item is currently on order with
our vendor, and we are awaiting its arrival at our warehouse.
Once we receive further information from the studio on the ETA we will
send you another email, and when the product comes in stock your order
will be processed, and shipped."
