mmm...It looked good, but not THAT good. I was a bit underwhelmed by it. The gameplay looked kind of hackneyed also. What was up with that punching too? Little mac had more entertaining punches than this Crysis character.

My PC weeps looking at videos of this game, as it will never see the software running on such a meager system. The carrier stuff I'd seen before, and thought it looked stunning. However it seems, along with videos of Gears of War I've seen, that it wants to overly impress the viewer with cinematic events that I imagine most players won't bother swinging the camera towards on most playthoughs (if at all).

I'd love a high-quality non-narration video of the aircraft carrier demo level, though.

So it's essentially a better looking FarCry. Give me a better story than that game, and they've got themselves a buyer.

From a pure graphical standpoint, this is easily the most impressive video game I have ever seen:

This is the game I'm looking most forward too.Far Cry is still my Favorite FPS and this might be the game to over take it.

dont get me wrong, I love killing asians as much as the next gamer, but there is just something wrong with the impact physics in these game videos. everything seems far too floaty. nothing seems to have the weight I would expect it to have.

with that said, I was still pretty impressed with what you can do with this engine, lets hope Crytek actually has some good gameplay to make use of this engine. I wish bullets had more impact (but thats a problem i see in 90% of shooters these days), and the super powers look like fun. The whole demo reminded me of the assault on the guerilla compound early on in Predator, which is a very good thing.
