According to Variety (and the good people at cinema Confidential ), Steven Spielberg will reteam late this year with Tom Hanks for the comedy "Terminal".
The plot concerns "an Eastern European immigrant who becomes a resident of a New York airport terminal when a war breaks out and erases his country from the map, voiding his passport. He makes friends with the airport staff and falls in love with a flight attendant."
It's about time Hanks made another comedy. Although the story could either lead to an off-beat movie or a sappy one. I'm hoping for the former (although we'll most probably get the latter).
