Ah, glorious Blu-Ray. Time to write a print-screen macro! Unfortunately, it sounds like the manufacturers will probably have this corrected by the time the $200 players come out.

someone will always crack the system since for every corporate programmer there's a team of 5/6 hackers working on it around the world 24/7

In most cases, there's a corporate programmer who leaks it to the hackers...


There's been copy protection schemes around for over 1/4 century, and a work around hack becomes available shortly after every new one is introduced. They're basically like car door locks. Keeps the casual thief out, but the professionals are getting in regardless.
