I dunno. My email box is destroyed. I think it'd be great if you could. Anyone else?
I would enjoy and accept the challenge of co-commentating with Kirby.
Kirby is the king when it comes to such events, but I'd be willing to do some commentary as well. Mortenson to his Kiper, if you will.

I don't imagine you want it crowded with bullshit, though, so just let me know.

The draft order is up, and I cannot be in front of a computer during my draft time (7:20 PST). I will be in the car driving to work at that time.

Will this be like before, where you will just draft at your time, regardless of whether or not the person before you has drafted? If so, I will draft as soon as I get in to work.

I don't want to screw anybody up. I'll take my chances by missing my time. However, I'd be open to switching my draft time with someone around the 8:20-8:40 (11:20-11:40 EST) time frame, if it isn't too much trouble.

Otherwise, just skip me, and I'll draft when I get in.

I definitely can't comment on 280 pieces of ass so the more the merrier.

Let me know how/where/when to do it.

Does that sound correct to some of the original drafters?
I believe I have a spreadsheet full of the last couple of drafts, with all the picks, if you need it. PM me if you do.

And Nick, I can't remember if I posted it or not that I'd do the "Chosen" list. I've done it the last 1-2 drafts (as to why I have the spreadsheet with all the picks), so I volunteer again.

I'll be at the beach Thursday and Friday so I'll be late with 4th and 5th round picks and won't be able to do any commentary.

Going by past drafts, Nick likes to have the first round go in order, with everyone waiting until the person before them has gone, regardless of the scheduled time. Not sure if he's doing that this time though.

Only a few minutes away from the first pick, and the internet (as well as cocks covered by belly fat) is thick with anticipation. The CHUD Babe draft is the stuff of legends and rumor has it that many a film role has been recast based off the preferences of the sweaty palmed men who post here.

First "picker" is better known as Ratty on the message boards and he has the pressure of picking the hottest woman in movies. Chris Allen, who used his first pick in the February '04 draft to pick Naomi Watts follows Ratty. Stew picks third, followed by Dean Curtis who used his first pick in the Fall '04 draft on Diane Kruger. Finally in fifth is Kirby Drummond who would be hopeful to get Eva Mendes again, his first pick in the February '04 babe draft. As a bonus, having Dave Davis pick in the top ten guarantees that the definition of hot young women, will get even younger.

Let's get it on!
While it would seem one couldn't complain about a Rosario Dawson pick, I tend to view this first round as being similar to the 1984 NBA draft - said by many to be the greatest draft of all time. Houston went with Hakeem, and even today people will say you can't blame them for the pick. I can...

Yeah, Hakeem is great. A Hall of Fame center who helped them to a couple titles. But, they could have had the Best Player Of All Time. They could have had more than two titles only won during the period when said B-POAT* took time off. There's only one number one pick in this draft, and Ratty missed it. He got a Hall of Famer, but not the best pick.

(*Before I'm accused of plagiarism, I admittedly stole the acronym from DF Wallace.)

I anxiously await Dave's entry into our unofficial "fresh new face of Hollywood" competition.
Isn't there suppose to be a pic thread so as not to clog the actual draft with pics, especially if people are doing this at work. There may be a nip slip on some of them.
I think Rosario Dawson is a fine pick, but what I would consider a "trendy" one.

Every year, there seems to be babes who draftee's fall in love with, mostly because they are very present within the internet and geek community. Rosario is fresh off exchanging spit with a chubby, bad facial hair, obscenity spewing "geek", in a movie written by a geek who most chastise, but the majority would give their pud-spanking hand to change places with. This new found geek creed, gives her a definitive two legs up in the air (and spread wide open) over the competition. That being said, as a chubby, bad facial hair, potty mouth - I don't blame Ratty one bit.

Chris Allen - you are on the clock.

Based off the past drafts, yes there has been a pic thread. Plus, as someone who is doing this from work, I would appreciate a separate pic thread.

After watching her dance to "ABC" in Clerks II, I have absolutely no problem with this pick. It was one of the sexiest moments I've seen on film in a while, simply for the joy and innocence she had in that scene.
Yeah... we need a seperate image thread, especially after the recent Alba posting.

Martianman?

I just started one actually.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a shitty pick. It's a great pick. Dawson is hotness. One of my favorite scenes with her is from This Girl's Life (CHUD review here - http://www.chud.com/index.php?type=dvd&id=1529) just sitting around a table with a couple women talking sex. She just oozes sensuality, but as you say, Dickson, she can also come off as just a fun girl to hang out with.

She's just not the MJ of this draft.

Well, I've been into her since Josie & the Pussycats, but, yes, she's been much more visible lately and in more "geekier" projects. I also knew that she was definite first-round material, so I had to grab her now.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.

While in thought, will a seperate list thread be created, like in previous drafts? Perhaps users should post their ongoing draft in the chosen thread, or is that process nixed entirely?
I believe Martianman is taking care of 'The Chosen' thread.
I'm not sure how the commissioner would rule, but Chris Allen was not available for his pick and Stew was not once to sit around and wait for a chance to miss out on the hotness, so he swoops right in and picks Jessica Alba. The only thing more invisible than her her acting in F4, is her clothes in most magazine shoots. For this, Jessica - we salute you, one "pup tent" at a time.

I think this a great pick, that just can't be argued with. Sure her acting is more stiff than the bugle in pants of most males with a mouse, but we are not picking on talent here - unless you consider talent a great rack and "fantastic" ass.

Never saw this, but no way is it better than a similar sounding scene Dawson has in Kids, her first flick.

I chuckle some at the I've known her since Josie and the Pussycats. Again, because of Kids.

Anyway, Dawson is a stud. Great face, skin, tits, ass --- plus, she's an NYCer and a geek. No way she should go ahead of Jessica Alba in any draft, but still a solid choice. 25th Hour cemented her as one of the best babes on the block.
Congratulations to the New Orleans Stews for having Reggie Bush fall into their laps. Alba is the world's hottest chick.
The 1984 NBA draft is now perfectly realized with Johansson being the third draftee (well, execpt Alba is no Sam Bowie).

As I mentioned in the sign-up thread, thedeanbcurtis is a force to be reckoned with in babe drafts.

Recent pics of Jessica Alba suggests you can argue with it. She staring to show Nicole Richie disease. She can still recover though, unlike Anna Kournikovawho looks more like she is prepping for the Machinist 2.
Emmanuelle Chriqui... had to go searching for that one.

Nice.
So we're going by the "you snooze, you lose" method for picking at scheduled time slots?

She's fantastically hot in those photos.

Seems like it.

I'm wondering if a lot of people realize this starts today.

Kirby, I think you are are evil. Entourage has brought some amazing ladies to the fore. Good picks all around thus far.
Apparently, Dean Curtis was hoping for a repeat of the Winter '04 draft when he took Scarlett Johansson in the first round, and with the third pick in the draft, the blonde beauty is taken off the board. I'm not sure what other drafters are thinking in their war rooms, but this is a pick that I support 100%. I think Scarlett is a classic beauty.

After appearing in numerous thankless roles, she burst onto the scene in LOST IN TRANSLATION and her odd May-December relationship with Bill Murray gave us all a bit of hope. Everyone wonders what she whispered into his ear at the end of the film, and I like to think is had something to do with anal beads and Crisco.

I had Johansson going number five to Kirby Drummond, but I should have known that humans are creatures of habit - and apparently Mr. Curtis was pleased with what Johansson added to his draft two years and he doesn't hesitate to bring her home once again.
Four picks, four names off the list. Curtis is indeed a shark.

I had assumed so. Didn't it turn into this interminable thing when we had to wait on people who didn't pick anywhere near their time slot? Apologies if that's wrong, but one draft I participated in also had a "pick for me" thing, so I figured I was safe.
I don't know if she's ever been drafted. But she was a babe way back when she was in Snow Day, even if she was like 14 then. Now, she's nice and ripe and it's harvest time.
I'm pretty sure we held firm to the order just for the first round before.
Johansson was definitely underage the first time she was drafted. For those who pay attention to stuff like age.
Kirby Drummond didn't take a "wrong turn" with pick number four, but definitely sent some drafters scrambling. By taking the sweet Canuck known as Emmanuelle Chriqui, he has demonstrated that he is here to play.
Scarlett is hard to argue with because of the rack and the tight ass, but I will say that she dresses like a dork. It's hard to believe she's from New York with her choice of clothing. Not cool. Like that terrible bikini she wore in those 'razzi snaps with Josh Hartnett. But maybe the best tits around so she's prime time.
Honestly... I have no idea who I'm picking today. Oy.

That was the way it went in the Winter & Fall '04 draft. But that draft also only had less than half of the initial signups complete. So maybe this way will get more people staying till the end.

Much like the Minnesota Vikings disaster draft a few years ago, does Chris get to squeeze his pick in whenever he can, or does he now have to wait till the end?
He should go whenever he shows up.

I hope people start drafting some uggos.

You and me both, killer. Having pick 23 out of 28 does relieve some stress, though. At least the field will help me narrow down my choices.
It's around the middle of the draft when I feel people will start to get creative.
Scarlett's gone, I quit.

Seriously, how much has changed since the 2004 draft? I picked near the bottom and still managed to get her, this year she's gone in the top 5.

And let her dress like a dork, ain't like she's gonna be wearing it for long.

I have no clue who I'm going to pick either, but I'll have a good two or three hours after work to think about it.
Scarlett is a tit machine these days. Hence she's in the top 5.
Wasn't like she wasn't packing two years ago though. But they're certainly out there more often.
Only one hour till will find out if this whole thing is a Dateline NBC setup and Chris Hansen comes on here to confront Dave Davis as to why has condoms and Mike's Hard Lemonade next to his keyboard.
