Slither - 10.24.06 - Page 2

They must hate movies and hate America!

A cryin' shame: http://joblo.com/reviews.php?mode=joblo_dvds&id=1457

SLITHER won’t make you laugh and it definitely won’t scare you, so I’m not sure who to recommend this to. I guess if you’re a big Nathan Fillion fan (like me) than this will help tide you over until they revisit SERENITY.
How could a site that loves movies endorse this lukewarm review?

*Hyperbolic rant over.

I finally saw Slither like a week and a half ago and it was just 'meh.' I was honestly hoping they'd kill Bill Pardy I guess.

The whole movie just felt a little to short or small or something. It's hard to place. It was still enjoyable but I think I prefer the Dawn of the Dead remake to it.

Maybe if there had been some sort of space leech infected baby?

Well, you're right about America.

No, I was disappointed in the number of deaths and the length of the invasion. The whole thing just seemed to end too quickly for me. That's really my only complaint with the movie ... I just felt it needed more. Not necessarily to be larger scale just to fully realize the invaded city a little more.

I had a good time with it, a fun movie.

We watched Slither and Feast as part of a movie marathon - BOTH went over like gangbusters.

I am spreading the gospel of both from this moment on.

"...like a needle in a fuckstack."

Yes, I do love this movie.

Finally saw and loved this. Just worked on every level for me, and even if I wasn't a Browncoat, I'd say that Fillion needs to be a much bigger star than he is right now.

Movie also has my favorite closing lines since Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang:

"Hey, Kylie, why don't you tell Starla about that time I saved you from a deer?"
"Oh, yeah. Bill saved me from a deer."
