Aw, sweet. See you in the Splatter Zone!

If it's the same gang that I saw, i'd say run to see this.

Evil Dead: The Musical came to Montreal 2 years ago and they were amazing.

It's good fun.

I've heard from a few readers who went to those shows... everyone loved it.

Definitely sounds like a good time. Perhaps I'll have to get together a Creature Corner crew for a night there...

Any odds on a worldwide tour, would you think?
If they make London, I will travel to see it.

Soooo, has anyone seen this yet?

I'm going Nov. 18th.

Hitting it Saturday.

Everyone who's seen it has loved it- I know a few people that went to the preview screenings multiple times. Can't wait.

Disappointed.

I sat in the Splatter Zone- AND DIDN'T GET A SINGLE DROP OF DEADITE BLOOD ON ME.

I wrote them an angry letter. An EXTREMELY angry letter.

This and One Man Lord of the Rings, everyone should see.

From the producers...

Dear Gabe:

Sorry if you didn't get splattered but blood splattering is not an exact science. If you think about it, it is impossible to hit all of the people in the splatterzone. The blood goes where it goes as this is a theatrical production, not target practice. I am glad at least you liked the other parts of the show.

Regards,

Bill Franzblau

Horseshit, man.

This had better cross the Atlantic at some point, or I'm gonna....something.
Yeah, count me in on that...something.

Sounds like fun.
Although when you come to think of it,it is not that much more outrageous a idea for a musical then a serial killer who as a barber slits his customers throats and then gives them to a next door neighbor who makes them into Meat Pies and has a huge sucess selling them......

Seconded. Heavily.

I went to see it Nov. 4th, and it was probably the best show I've ever seen on or off Broadway before.
It was utterly hilarious and well worth it. I wrote a review a few days ago. When I get back to my pc, ill post it here. but it IS fantastic
One of the merch items was one of those foam hands...but instead of a hand, it was a chainsaw. So clever.

Is it worth the $$$ to pick up the soundtrack to this?

If you like musicals and Evil Dead it is. If you dislike one of those things, then no.
