Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

I guess it's the same as the PS game, which I never played, and I'm considering a purchase. I don't like the idea that your character is limited to a certain number of actions in each chapter, but I also don't quite understand how that works. Anyone play this or the original have any input?

It's a fun game. The port isn't great -- the graphics aren't that sharp and load times are long -- but the gameplay isn't quite like any other RPG. The Norse story is farily cool, and I really like the fact that you have a time limit. Too many RPGs promise some major impending event that only arrives when you walk into the proper town and trigger an event. This is better, and more strategic and challenging.

I've played the first trial dungeon, pretty fun. Does the actual "game time" make any difference (when I use my handhelds I'm often called away for varying lengths of time, and the game clock only stops if the system is off), or is it just the limited number of "action points" that are important?
