Dsata for Xbox 360

So I bought this Datel DSata last night to get the actual rosters in my game of NCAA 2007. On that front it worked great.

The problem I have is that it has this glowing blue light that is next to the hard drive and it seems to be heating up the 360 beyond what it normally is, even when its turned off. I tried to take the damn thing off, but it won't come off.

Has anyone else used this?

I was at Gamestop this past weekend and was going to get the same thing but the guy at the store warned me about the heat it generates. I told him all I wanted were rosters for NCAA and he recommended a used memory card and the xchange memory backup thing by Datel. It basically makes a imge of your memory card on your computer. Once on your pc you can change the image anyway you want to, save the edited image to the mem card and it works great for a lot cheaper then the dsata.
