One of the most frantic, progressive, and downright manic electronica groups I've ever heard. Part of the post rock scene, although far more emotional and rabid than any of their compatriots, the band have released 3 albums thus far and to be honest trying to describe them is kinda pointless. I've put a few listenable samples at the bottom.

The important question is, has anyone else heard of them?

I'll have to download these later, but thanks for the samples.

I'll agree that they're good--and take a quite different approach than the usual crescendo-to-a-wall-of-noise that most recent post-rock acts take.

Glitchy, fast post-rock is how I've heard them described and that fits the bill perfectly I think. "Retreat! Retreat!" is my favorite song by them off my favorite album of theirs, The Fall of Math. Good stuff.

I never liked Fall of Math. I thought it was a little too clinical compared to One Time For All.

This Cat Is A Landmine is a pretty spectacular song though. Almost Explosions in the Sky like at times.

post-rock in a good way, or a muse-type bad way?

Post rock in a good way.

Aside from the titles there's very little pretensiuosness to them. They are utterly intense, even more so live, and just care about the music. They're just exceptionally focused musicians.

The new album is pretty fantastic, more piano led and with a cleaner production. Although the do seem to have dropped their glitch sounds which is a bit of a shame. I'm currently fighting to get myself some tickets for their May gig in Leeds.

Sounds pretty good. I'll have to pick this up.

No idea how I missed this thread. I love these guys' bizarre mix of rock riffs and glitchy electronica. Great great stuff. Haven't heard small ideas yet, but I'm really looking forward to it.
