I agree it really looks like Nutt was thinking he could hire this high school coach, walk all over him, and get his star players to commit. But, on the other hand, he was a high school coach last year. He can't realistically think he's going to have complete control of an SEC offense, especially when it became clear Mustain wasn't ready to make a consistent impact and Darren McFadden was more than ready to carry the offense. I think there's enough blame to go around here. No doubt by signing with Arkansas Mustain and Williams (and their parents) felt like they were going to be big fish in a smaller pond... and when it didn't happen (coupled with the Malzahn stuff for Mitch) they decided to bolt. I think the criticism of Nutt is warranted, but the stuff Pat Forde talked about a few weeks back applies too.
