Moltisanti - Page 5

We don't see angry Devin as much as we used to. It's like he actually stopped getting worked up about what a bunch of strangers say on a message board. What the hell's up with that?
He's getting laid now.

Fixed. It's hard to troll the internet when you actually have to do work at your job.
Attacking Devin is so 2006.
Devin attacking you...never out of style.
It's not an attack. Devin and I had the same employer. He had very little work to do while there, so it was easier to be online all day (same with my job as well). Now that he's traveling the world visiting movie sets, he's got his hands full.

Fair enough.
Sorry, Diva, wasn't directed at you personally. Bumping this thread at all is what I kinda meant.

Coolio.

I personally feel I won. this thread is comedy Gold. Everyone who has posted for more then 2 years here has at least one melt down, some like Devin have a lot more melt down then others. Personally my favorite chud melt down is It's My fault thread By Jacob Singer. It the Christmas Story CHUD melt downs, and with that all I got to say is this thread is all Singer's fault.
There are meltdown-free posters. But when you add up some folks' bi-annual meltdowns, I guess it all evens out.
I haven't had a meltdown...yet.

*Could you imagine if Cobretti had a meltdown...not only would everyone be dead there would be no trace that CHUD ever existed...just a slight echoey laugh everytime you tried to log in.
I admit to having meltdowns, this was in my AICN chatting days though. Now a days I try to keep it classy and save my bitching for more appropriate settings. You know, like work.
Have I had a meltdown? Man, I hope not. Snarky, self deprecating comments, sure, but I don't think I've blown up on anyone...

And yes, they are rather amusing to watch in a twisted, shadenfreude kind of way. Or however you spell that damn word.
I dont count as a meltdown, but i once posted a pretty lenghty and angrey response to Devin when he made a cynical bastard comment on the thread about the Madelaine child abduction case...looking back on it, I did lose it a bit.
Oddly enough, it gave me my first positive user comments and rep.
Not sure if I've had what would qualify as a meltdown. I've had some tantrums and some pretty heated arguments, but I don't know that they fell into "meltdown" category. If I did - oh well. Shit happens.
So. What does Moltisanti do for a living?

I don't think that many Chewers have had a real meltdown. Been passionate about something they believe in? Most definitely. I remember my first confrontation/diagreement/discussion with a long established Chewer (HAM) about not taking shit. Ahh violence, such a heart warming discussion.
No meltdown here yet. Kind of hard to have a full-on emotional meltdown while at a typewriter where you have to sit and carefully compose words and sentences. That sort of deflates any emotional outburst, at least as far as I'm concerned.

Haven't really been attacked yet either. I've had my taste in movies disparaged (see 1970's movie draft), but that's par for the course and totally not personal. I guess I'm the middle-of-the-road guy. Might be why I keep getting picked for juries.

Last year I drunkenly created a thread about my best friend getting his g/f of about 2 months pregnant and how upset I was because my wife and I had been trying for over two years. Not a meltdown but I learned well that day I should A) be careful of the things I post, both while sober and not, and B) expect to be ridiculed (rightly so) for seeking advice on an internet message board.
I'll admit to getting many minutes of enjoyment and thoughtfulness out of that one, Dan.
Yeah, well, I cried for like three days. So now you should feel bad.

Not really, it was an important cyber-life lesson.

I posted one about a toenail making an exit rather suddenly and made the mistake of being half-kidding half-actually looking for medical advice. I also made the mistake of misunderstanding an Alex Rivello joke. Between that mistake and admitting to Saw being a guilty pleasure I'm sure Alex thinks I'm a complete douchebag.

We all have those moments.

EDIT: I also got really in over my head in the infamous "Kids on Planes" thread when arguing with Devin.

So, is this the confessional booth? I don't have any quarters.

This butthurt bait thread should skip the confessional and proceed directly to one of these:

I think he's just given up on even trying, hence this post. And having lurked and barely added anything for the past week or so, I'm almost inclined to agree with him.

Statistically? Not that many, especially when you think how many "regulars" are present.

Maybe he didn't have as long of a history as those, but Giant Baba's was fucking epic. And Angelo Mike going down in flames still makes me smile.
Can you link to Angelo's? I met that guy one time, I'd like to see it.

Also, to add to the pile: Copperlocke.

I was under the impression that every waking moment of Copperlocke/witchesbrew's life was a meltdown.

The plot thickens when you notice the timeliness of this interview.

"This was an important interview for me: it was the first time I talked to Judd Apatow where I didn't feel like a total douchebag afterwards. I can't even watch my video interview with him for Forgetting Sarah Marshall because all I can see in his face is disdain. I think the problem is that every time I interviewed Judd in the past I tried to be clever or witty and just failed. You can imagine how annoying that would be to someone who is clever and witty.

So last week I just dropped the witty 'Hey, I'm funny too, guy!' bullshit and simply interviewed Judd."

In all seriousness, more content on the site, and CHUD exclusive visits and interviews probably keeps him busy. We all win.

Is she the one that wanted to cyber somebody in the sex forum? Who was it she wanted to 'bed'? again?

No, the boards suck dick and I'm tired of being annoyed about it.

Removing my previous comment, after I realized there's nothing wrong with this statement.
