Anyone else think Ryder has been shit-holed because he went outside the "WWE Box" and made himself popular with his youtube video's and such?

Getting back at the ex and helping Punk's team get a victory at the same time.  I love that I cannot for the life of me figure out whether she is more into seeing Bryan lose, seeing Punk win, or leading Kane around by his dick.

Love that column.

Watched the show on the ol' DVR tonight--highlight for me was when Titus pointed at a fan at the end of their match and shouted, "Shut your mouth, fatboy!"  I highly enjoy it when guys engage the fans directly.

AJ thing was fun too.  I like her music and the little skip that she has.

Liked it. Didn't love it. Oh look, Cena is beating up another non wrestler. again. that's what, 3 weeks in a row now?

And he's taping his hands now--what's that deal?  He's becoming a sort of "special guest star" of Raw--he comes in, does his little schtick, and then is gone again, pretty much adding nothing to the show as a whole, or is used as a bridge to move from one story to another but isn't integral to either storyline.  Maybe the WWE is terrified of not putting him on TV for a week.  Or now that he's getting divorced, maybe he wants to stay on the road and do some whorin'.

TNA STARS HEADING TO PRO WRESTLING NOAH IN JAPAN
by Mike Johnson & Phil Lions @ 8:29 AM on 6/21/2012

Pro Wrestling NOAH announced today that three TNA stars will compete at their big event in Sumo Hall in Tokyo on 7/22.

Samoa Joe and Magnus will challenge Jun Akiyama and Akitoshi Saito for the Pro Wrestling NOAH Global Honored Crown Tag Team Titles.

Christopher Daniels will take on Yoshinobu Kanemaru for the NOAH Global Honored Crown Junior Heavyweight Title.

Great to see Joe in Japan again, him and Magnus will be good opponents for Akiyama/Saito. Daniels/Kanemaru will be awesome. It's great to see these guys wrestle in Japan without the needless crap of the TNA surrounding them.

I'm not holding my breath on NOAH talent showing up in TNA though.

Fett, have you watched TNA the past couple weeks? The booking has improved big time. At least watch Slammiversary. That was the best show TNA has ever put on, IMO. At least watch Samoa Joe vs. Aries, Sting vs. Roode, Storm vs. Crimson, Bully Ray vs. Joseph Parks, Kurt Angle & AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels & Kaz, even their pointless match between Hernandez and Kid Kash was good.

The past two weeks, they've really started to turn it around. I think the Bischoff/Lagana/Prichard team is finally coming together nicely.

Slammiversary was not bad. Joe/Aries and the tag title match were the high points of the show.   There's a lot of dead weight that could be excised from TNA to make it a better company.

I just heard about the Dixie/AJ/pregnant crack whore reveal on TNA.  My stomach still hurts from laughing so fucking hard.

Yeah, what the Hell was *that*? They've been on their best month-long run in the history of the company and they just destroyed the goodwill they've earned in one fell swoop. Still, last night aside Impact has been smoking Raw for the last three weeks. I could live without anyone named Hogan ever being on TV again, but they've done a lot right since the week before Slammiversary.

Yeah, that whole AJ Styles/Dixie Carter storyline is just terrible. They're doing so much right and then with this it's a huge step backwards. I'm tired of the lame soap opera storylines. Leave that to the WWE.

News coming from "Kenny" of the Spirit Squad saying that Cena was the reason he and Mickie James broke up.  Cena had a fling with her, and supposedly another WWE Diva that was married to a non-wrestler at the time.  It's Shawn Michaels/Sunny all over again!  (ok, not really).

I thought everyone already knew the MJ/Cena story already.  That shit is common knowledge and old news.  They started fucking, she caught feelings, he dumped her, she didn't handle it "professionally", she got moved to the blue show.  The only reason they ever started that onscreen flirtation is because they were really banging.  WWE loves to fuck with people in regards to their sex lives.  Several former employees have testified to this.

If you read the comments under that post on Lords of Pain, everyone on there is saying, "Yeah right, that never happened.  He's lying."

Well, by all accounts that I've heard, it happened.  People fucking doesn't shock me.  People who are shocked by people fucking shocks me.  That roster is one big traveling orgy.  Good for them.

Maybe I'm just too trusting of people I don't know, but Cena doesn't strike me as someone who would cheat on his wife. Even if it was with the delicious Mickie James. But what the hell do I know?

He's on the road 24/7.  Never home.  You expect him to not fuck another woman?  Skip to 1:18 and listen to his answer of how much he is home a year:

COME ON, NOW.  Even the most pious man is still a MAN.  Add on top of that the fact that gorgeous women are constantly flinging themselves at him and he's got gorgeous women working with him who always around and down to fuck, and you've got a recipe for infidelity.

I just find it difficult to imagine or believe that a man who does that high a volume of steroids annually can have a dick left. Maybe there's been a pharmaceutical breakthrough that I didn't hear about.

Back to cheerful news: RAW is on in an hour, it's Vickie Guerrero's turn as Former GM turned Interim GM this week (meaning more screen time for Ziggler!), Jericho is back, and they're broadcasting from nowhere near Brazil.

Hot start, shit finish.  Been a pattern as of late.  Sid and Jericho looked like my mother's leather purse.

In better news, AJ became Gollum.  Her chat with Kane was hilarious.  "I'm not boyfriend material" made me howl laughing.  And now Punk needs have a serious conversation with her, next week, on As The Ring Turns.  I predict that next week, Punk puts her in the friend zone.  Eyeballs will be clawed out.

Kane's "it's not you, it's me" speech, AJ's babyface win against the heel Vicki in the Battle Royale, and the appearance of Sid in any WWE program other than a posthumous DVD all came as very pleasant surprises. I have no idea what they're going to do with the ONE MAN BaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaand after he's been demolished by a month-long daisy chain of senior citizens, but I don't feel as though anything of value is being lost. Hell, he was in the first season of NXT and I still haven't bothered to learn the guy's name.

The biggest letdown of the night, for me, was Cena's announcement that his "history making surprise announcement" was not going to be a kayfabe excuse to get him off camera so he can go and tend to his divorce proceedings. His speech about entering the Money in the Bank match in order to somehow thwart the Big Show sounded like he was literally complaining that someone besides himself was getting a long overdue push; it was the most spontaneous and unrehearsed sounding promo I've ever heard him give.

Yeah, the "nobody here can stop Show except me" shit sounded like he took a page from the Triple H Burial Book.

A much better Raw than recent weeks. Still a ton to work on, though.

A better Raw because there was far less focus on the 'generic heel authority figure' ,the single most passe thing in Pro Wrestling.

Best thing that could happen to WWE is Cena failing a drug test.

You really think they'd admit it if he did, take him off the road for a month and watch attendance and ratings plummet?  You do?  Aww.  That's sweet.

Big fat honkin' spoiler for Smackdown AND Money In The Bank:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

It is announced on Friday's SD that AJ will be the referee for Punk/Bryan at MITB.

I read that and promptly gasped, then laughed, then laughed some more about how excited I am to be this excited about a Diva again.

From this week's Figure Four newsletter:

Quote:

Regarding reports in the last few weeks that the reason Vince McMahon doesn't worry about long-term storylines is because he cannot remember what happened three weeks ago and thus concludes that fans won't remember either, several sources have noted that while he's never had the best memory (at one point, and this was a few years back, he actually forgot who the participants were in the Montreal Screwjob), it's only getting worse. McMahon is 66 years old. His memory issues can in part be attributed to age, but also in part due to the vast amount of programming they produce every week, which is impossible to keep track of even for people much younger. Of late he has been forgetting things on a nearly daily basis and gets agitated when people correct him.

Oh dear

We're getting close to an "Old Yeller" moment for Vince as head of creative, I think.

I'm sure getting knocked around in the ring hasn't helped the memory either.  My mother-in-law is almost 80 years old, and she will literally ask you the same question 3-4 times within a span of 5 minutes.  That's one of many reasons why she lives with us.  We came home one night and she was "watching" our son (who is almost 11), and she said, "Ok, you're home, I'm going downstairs to go to bed."  About 5-10 minutes later, she came back upstairs, saw us and said, "I was just making sure you were home.  Good night."  Wow.

Paging Maury Povich, will Maury Povich please report to the Impact Zone?

TNA has gone full retard.

Lolwut? I haven't watched TNA in ages, someone fill me in. Was the big crack reveal like a Tyrone Biggums moment? "There's something you need to know about me, Dixie Carter: I smoke rocks!"

Kaz and Daniels were accusing Dixie/AJ of fucking.  They had incriminating pics/audio/video.  Last week, AJ/Dix revealed that they weren't fucking, but were helping a preggo crack whore.  Last night, it was revealed by Daniels that AJ is the baby daddy.

And this is somehow going to be resolved with a wrasslin' match, right? Right?

Gotta be a "something" on a pole match.

Hey, DNA results on a pole match... BOOK IT TNA!

Or maybe "Crack Rock on a Pole," with a comically oversized papier-mache boulder sitting up there. The camera can keep cutting to it before the commercial breaks to convey the gravitas.

The silver lining is that pregnancy angles never last long for obvious reasons.  The child will be lost via miscarriage after she takes a bump, or it'll be revealed that she was never pregnant to begin with.

It remains one of the greatest lost opportunities of the Mark Henry monster heel push that having to pay child support for a disembodied hand was never listed among the many issues that haunted the man and turned him into an engine of rage.

I was watching Brock Lesnar's return from a couple months back on youtube the other day. I can't believe how bad the WWE has gotten since then. March and April was absolutely fantastic. I had such hope finally. First The Rock kick's Cena's ass then Lesnar comes back and kicks Cena's ass. It was like the WWE was apologizing to all of their long time fans for the 8 years we've had to put up with Cena's bullshit.

It's just awful now. I can't even get into this whole Daniel Bryan/Punk/AJ/Kane storyline anymore.

TNA is getting much better with the exception of this whole AJ Styles storyline. Other than that though, the matches are good and I'm really into their wrestlers way more than I am WWE right now. They still have a lot to work on. But they're getting there.

Getting where exactly? You've always been an outspoken fan and their performers-matches have never been the problem. Their booking is still inconsistent. Van Dam, Hardy, and Anderson seem to constantly be on the top of the roster and I swear they must have had about a dozen or so matches this year that involved two of those three or all three wrestling each other to decide who will be number one contendor. It's the same deal with the Knockouts.

They have a whole host of talented performers but the moment they aren't a factor in the "title race", the company has no idea what to do with them at all.  It seems like I've watched AJ and Daniels wrestle about a million times too and throwing some contrived crack whore drama in the middle isn't going to freshen it up any for me. Samao Joe is no longer tag team champions with Magnus so it's back to not knowing what to do with him either. They had a nice little build going with Crimson as an "undefeated monser" then they put him in a tag team, turned him heel, and had him go down to a returning James Storm.

I will say that the Austin Aries giving up the X-Division belt to chase the World title shows some potential but the company as a whole, it is still "TNA as usual".

Have you guys seen this WWE YouTube series "Are You Serious?"  Holy shit, it's the best thing they've put out in years.  Road Dogg and Josh Matthews go through and comment on some of the weirdest, stupidest, and most disgusting moments of WCW, ECW, and WWE/F past.  One of the more recent ones with RoboCop is great:

"Is that Kevin Nash under there [as Robocop]?"

"No, he hadn't torn his quad yet."

Here's one to get you started:

And there's "The Game", Puppet H!
