STRAY BULLETS is one of my favorite comics, but I haven't seen in issue in ages. I'm seriously missing my fix of gritty, Baltimore retro-noir.

David Lapham is one of my favorite writers in the field. New issues of Stray Bullets will come out from El Capitan off and on, but you stand a better chance of seeing his continued work with the big two.

If you haven't checked it out already, give his mini-series "Murder Me Dead" a shot.

MURDER ME DEAD is actually what turned me onto his work. At the time I was heavily into crime and suspense comics, and MMD was as good as it got. Still one of the best comics I've read, up there with WHITEOUT.
