So, I'm sitting here in my boxers at 4 in the morning, buzzed off wine, blasting Black Mages and trying to work on a couple reviews- when I start searching through the old Creature Corner threads.
Man, was this place a mess after Ryan and Johnny left. Seeing shit like this and this shows me how no one tried really tried to install a community here. It's a little scary to me, cause like everyone else I used to love this place back in the day, and remember drifting away myself when the editors changed over. Things got better once Dan took over, but he didn't really have any support either.
So what's this all about? I want that to change. I'd love for these boards to come alive again. I'd love to have a place to talk about all the horror movies I love, both good and bad. I want people to come to me with ideas for the site, of how they can contribute. Reader reviews, columns- hell, maybe we can get a fiction section going again. I know the site needs a facelife (guh, trust me, I know) but that part's out of my hands.
I just hope that you'll stick with me as I try to set all this shit up. I'm still very new at this but I've been busting my ass literally every day trying to set up stuff and get contacts for the site, while handling most of the news and reviews.
