As soon as I posted it, I recalled the Reggie Bush scenario. He, Eli Manning, and Elway are the only three examples I can think of where a player's contractual demands made a noticeable change in draft order. It seems to be par for the course for baseball, with multiple players being avoided like the plague due to perceived contractual demands.
Post-draft, however, NFL players are far more vital to their team's immediate future than MLB players, thus making hold-outs far more damaging.
