What do people here think of this movie? It just came out on DVD. I've heard it has a similar atmopshere to Carnival of Souls.

I fucking love this movie...to death!

Seriously, its one of my top ten favorite horror films. Be warned -- it is all atmosphere/creep factor and no gore. The synthesizer score alone gives me the willies. I am very happy its finally on DVD, even if the edition gives new meaning to the words bare bones.

If you find yourself enjoying this flick I heartily reccomend two other early seventies cute hippy chick/vague vampire offerings:

Lemora: A Child´s Tale of the Supernatural

Valerie and her Week of Wonders

Valerie is more of a czech new wave fantasia, but it still has nightmarish elements.
