Looks amazing. My only worry is that the quiet character moments, the ones that dont involve some sort of stabbing or gouging, will come out as camp as Butler's "This is Spartaaaaaa!!!!!!"

No matter how great a movie looks, it's those scenes that make an audience feel for what's on screen. For me, that was a lot of what Sin City got wrong 'cause it sure as hell looked fuckin beautiful.

Mixed Feelings.
Some of it look good,but too often the Persians look like the villians out of a really bad Sword and Sorcery fantasy film. I understand you hae to take a few liberties with history here and there to make a viewable film, but it seems over the top here.
I admit I have a grudge against this film,because it's production killed any chance fo a film of the novel "Gates Of Fire" which I think is a far superior retelling of the saga of the 300 Spartans than the Frank Miller comic.
