Little Help Here?

I just have a question here...


Does anybody know why when I try to view a long thread (typically about 80 or more posts) I am unable to view the whole thread? I mean I scroll down and then on post # whatever I am unable to keep scrolling down to the rest of the thread. What the hell? I only experience it on this sight so if anybody could supply any info that would be much appreciated.

Sometimes the entire page doesn't load for me, either. Hitting refresh always works, though.

That's odd. Something similar happens to me on short threads -- when there are only 1 or 2 posts -- I can't read any of the thread until the posts number in the 30s or so ...

what type of internet browser are you using? i'm on firefox and i never had that problem.

Yeah, the thread cutoff happens to me sometimes, just refresh like gravedigger said and you'll be good.

It happens to me at work and and at home, but like the others have said normally after a couple of refreshes it's ok.

It's connection problems at the server's site. Same reason double/triple/quintuple posts happen.

Management should yell at Nexcess about their uptimes.

It happens with both my IE and Firefox...
