M&M "50 Dark Movies" Trivia Game

The game is basically a poster that contains visual riddles for 50 "dark" movies and you try to guess as many as possible. Seems fairly difficult too, I'm having trouble even getting to 10.

Edit - after roughly an hour on an off looking at it with a friend, we were able to get 43 of the 50. I am real stumped for these last 7 though.

I got to 32 so far. All of the movies are definitely ones we've heard of, but it's still tricky

Totally stuck at 42. Can't figure out the mountain, the grim reaper, the tree, the butterflies, the green m&m in the dress, the mom with the kids, the lady with the barrel of water, or the giant baby. I know at least one of those is going to turn out to be really really obvious.

ETA: Now I'm at 30. I can't even tell that there are 20 more clues. If someone handn't mentioned the mountain, I wouldn't have guessed it was a clue.

I have now reached 30, and have become stumped!

the giant roach? the mom with the kids? the people with the O's? the water bucket? the mountain? the guys with the map?

good Lord, I didn't think these were gonna be so difficult.

Gotten 46 of them now. I'm stuck on the reaper, the mom with 2 kids, the 5 men with O on them, and whatever the hell the thing in the bottom left corner is.
There's already another thread for this, where we found all the answers.

Plus, if you're on Frappr...there's an answer key.

Most of your descriptions of these things should be what you focus on (especially that third one, but especially NOT that first one).

To be fair, most of those last few clues on that painting (as well as the Kubrick clues), are incredibly retarded.

This thread was on last night:

Flaparoo:

The Dead Zone
The Mummy
The Omen
The Creature From The Black Lagoon

Ben Grimm:

Twin Peaks
Saw and The Leprechaun (for the tree)
The Butterfly Effect
Blue Velvet
The Mummy
Dark Water
Rosemary’s Baby

Crossfire:

Beetlejuice
The Lost Boys

Thanks, Sneaky Pete.

Where is this thread from last night? I can't seem to find it anywhere?

Hiding over in "Movie Miscellany".

Got em, in a fair to middling 26 minutes.

Definitely true. I found a lot of them by listing "dark" movies in my head, and looking for something that matched. That's how I got "The Omen", "The Grudge", and "The Shining".
Yep, those were the stupidest ones (along with The Mummy).
Ok, I give in...49 of 50. The place above The lambs and Dead zone where it looks like house should be. Someone put me out of my misery. If it's really easy I'm going to hide under my desk.
Never mind. Got it. House. House on Haunted Hill. Village of the Damned. Shit, I think I even tried House 2 cause it looked like maybe more than one. Done deal and thanks to whoever started this. That was fun.

House of Wax.
You know it's a stupid clue when your guess is much better than the real answer.

For the woman holding up the two kids, which turned out to be The Mummy, I guessed Carrie (carry). My guess rules.

Going nuts here!

what is that circle at the bottom right corner with the clock on it. Is that 3pm or 3am? Who is that guy looking out of the telescope from the upstairs of that house on the hill?

Hint: the circle is an orange. Also, the guy is looking out the back window, you know in the rear of the house.

I can't believe someone couldn't actually get those two. How obvious can you get without showing the movie poster?

Well, in retrospect, almost all of them look really obvious.
