Sean Connery-Highlander: The Quickening

Yeah, I saw it. So sue me.

Everyone - REQUIEM FOR A DREAM. All it said was drugs are bad. We already know drugs are bad, so really its just two hours of pointless pain and suffering (with some good shots). Perhaps that's MY baggage more than yours.

Space Truckers is a comedy largely devoid of laughs, with production design that is not simply cheap looking but ugly.  It has enough plot for maybe 1/3 of its 90 minute runtime, does practically nothing with its premise, has inanimate or absentee villains, and features Debi Mazar as the romantic lead.

But everything with Charles Dance's cyborg space pirate is terrific.

Red State has two.

Don Francks as Boba Fett in the Holiday Special.

The Droids show wasn't total shite but Francks' Fett elevated it again.

Gotta agree with this one. In a forgettable movie, Reynolds is the only thing I remember about it.

The late, great Vincent Schiavelli in Tomorrow Never Dies. I don't think I've ever watched that movie again since my first viewing but myself and a friend still sometimes quote Dr Kaufman when we're drunk.

"Ah, Stamper! Stop yelling in my ear, ja?!"

How Ryan Reynolds has not gotten a superhero franchise off the ground may go down the great pop culture mystery of our time.  He's been in 3 of them and his installments have all managed to stink for reasons that aren't related to him.

Has Terry Crews in "White Chicks" been mentioned yet?   Because he's awesome in what is otherwise an endurance test....

I don't think Saving Private Ryan is complete shit, just mostly shit. The opening and closing battle sequences are visceral and masterful. Unfortunately, they are surrounded by a horrible framing device and a stock WWII movie rife with cliches and general mediocrity.  One hour of awesome with two hours of crap.

David Hewlitt gets lobbed some of the worst dialogue in Cube and manages to return service on it. Does that count as "good" or just least-crap?

Kinski? Funny mistake there.

My vote? The humans in ALIEN 3. Sorry, Fincher. I know Fox screwed you on that one.

Laura Dern in Inland Empire.

I love a lot of Lynch's work, but man, that movie was an ordeal.

And man, Laura Dern acted the heck out of that shit.

I think you're looking for "good sequence, shit film", which is a different thread.

Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in COWBOYS AND ALIENS... while I mildly enjoyed the movie itself, I know what most people think about it(and I understand the complaints).  But especially Ford... it's the most fun I've seen him have in years...  Miles ahead of his performance in Indy 4, and that to me is truly surprising.
