It may be trying to be hip, but I got a lot of good laughs out of the introductions, which is half the mission for a horror/comedy. Sneering at the film like a cynical bastard seems pretty harsh, especially when it's obvious all it wants to do is entertain the audience as much as possible. Did you pick on the kids in marching band when you were in high school?

The film forces you to sneer at it because it was so poorly executed. Sometimes it feels like horror/comedies have comedic elements because the horror elements aren't entertaining of effective enough. I'm sorry to people in marching band, that was a low blow. If you're thinking that introduction stuff was funny, then that's cool. It really bugged me. It made me angry, but if you thought it was funny that there isn't anything wrong with that.

Wait, am I being called out for using the word gay to describe something because I didn't select a more appropriate term or do you agree that it was gay?

yeah I probably shouldn't have erased what I said, because now all you see is niggers and kikes and you probably wonder what the heck. I made a comment about one the aspects of Feast where I said something they did was gay. I guess I didn't think about how disliking a film and equating some of its elements with homosexuality implies a dislike for homosexuals. In the future, I plan to express myself in a more intelligent manner- one that reflects my own high standards of tolerance and understanding and is considerate towards the feelings of those who may be reading.

so, back to the movie. one thing i liked about it was that it had some great effects work. And anytime the kid is fair game in a movie, you have to admire it.
