Article on the Fountain....

In case anyone is interested, there is an article on The Fountain in the November issue of Wired magazine.
Among some of the interesting things we learn is that the space scene wasn't done with any CGI. They used some new photography technique and just used computers for composoting. Although I have a really hard time believeing that the bubble he travels in wasnt created with cgi, it didnt feel like a real construct.

I can see this being one of those movies that people would walk out of totally pissed off. Kinda like Terry Gilliam's "Tideland" (amazing by the way). It looks like one of those movies that gets you to look at your self/past/blahblahbla, movies like that get a lot of hate thrown at them.
