I'd have to say Mike Torello vs Ray Luca on CRIME STORY. This rivlary lasted two seasons and has still yet to be resolved.

How about a REAL feud, like Michael Richards and Andy Kaufman?

How about David Letterman and Bill O'Reilly? I apologize if there's already a thread on this, but they met again on his show on Friday and it was just NASTY. These guys do not like each other at all.

No, they're only really funny when you have the classic 'toon rivalries to compare them to. And because of that, I nominate:

Tom & Jerry

I missed that when it was on but caught it on youtube. It is good television:

You Bonehead!

As for others, the Mackey/Aceveda feud on "The Shield" has been one of the most complex ever. What makes it interesting is that they are both in so much deep shit that they need each other to survive.

On a lighter note, I always enjoyed the episodes of "Cheers" where they squared off against Gary's Old Towne Tavern.

If you're referring to their infamous appearance together on Fridays, that wasn't a feud. They were both in on the joke. The incident was distorted for MAN ON THE MOON to make it seem as if Richards didn't know Kaufman was going to break character.

That might be why Richards doesn't appear as himself in the film -- since the recreation was bullshit, he probably didn't want any part of it.

Even though it was short-lived, Homer Simpson and Frank Grimes was one of my favorite feuds

That Letterman clip was pretty good.

"It's a simple question."
"It's not simple for me, because I'm a thinking person."

Score one for the Gap.
