Any fans of this movie out there? I like it well enough. What ever happened to Linda Kerridge?

Haven't seen it since the 80's, but always remember the killer in James Cagney mode saying "Happy Birthday.....Suckers!" and shooting people with a tommy gun.

This is a film that really could be re-made into something interesting. Using more recent films to base his characters on, or even adopting a horror character only theme, although I'm betting licensing issues would prevent that.

And Linda Kerridge joined most 80's starlets by vanishing after a series of bad horror films.

Richard Linklater's a fan apparently.

I've had the DVD in my pile for an age and never gotten around to it. Maybe I should remedy that.

I see the title "Fade to Black" on my cable channel guide on occasion, and I always check it in hopes it's the '80 horror movie, but it inevitably turns out to be that Jay-Z flick. Great disappointment follows.
