Surprised that this is the first thread for this.

First bit of footage is up. I know a lot of you dug the original- who's looking forward to this one?

Actually, there's a thread for the movie bouncing around somewhere.

Whatever the case, I really like this Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, and I think by taking on this project he was spinning his wheels.

Only on CHUD's main message boards, I think.

Looks interesting. I didn't know Robert Carlyle was in it. Harold Perrineau from LOST as well (according to imdb).

To know that Boyle, Garland and Macdonald are a part of this makes me pleased it's not (just) a cash-in. I'm definitely interested.

The raw footage does look good. Plus it has exploding heads, so it's got that going or it.

I really liked the original, so I'll definitely give a sequel the time of day. but I have to disagree w/ Mr. Riviello; I liked the whole film; never thought it got weak. it was almosta perfect film, & definitely makes my top 10 horror films list. Consequently, this is an experiment that probably can't be (satisfactorily) duplicated. I fear the bad, substandard sequel syndrome. More of an action film? I think that's a really shit idea.

I enjoyed the first one too. But considering that it was a rip-off of George Romero's Living Dead film s(right down to camera angles as well as plot points) expecting the sequel te be original is kind of a moot point.

It doesn't have to be terribly original. . . just not lame. I'd be happy if it weren't lame. . . .
