Well I didn't expect all the money, the power, and the women- but yeah, the site's been great to me.

This has seriously kept me sane in the last year though. I annoy the shit out of my friends because I talk about it all the time. I hope you guys will let me keep writing for it... and I'm glad I finally got some awesome guys helping to write for it.... hopefully that will expand.

Seriously, i've only been here a short time, but I can already sense your love of the field, and how much you contribute. It's already enhanced my enjoyment of the site. Congrats, and well done.

Thanks guys. It's just strange to me that I've written hundreds of articles for this thing. I can only hope my excitement comes through.

November sucks for horror news though, let me tell you. Everyone shoots their load in October.

Which brings me to a question for everyone- is there any interest in bringing back READER'S RITES? I'd like to have a column where anyone could write in about any aspect of horror.

For those who don't remember- Dan's original article, and a couple samples.

I remember back to the good old days, when illiteracy ran rampant on that site. And now, it's a fine piece of work. Good job.

So, may I ask if you get compensated for your hard work?

Well, with free dvds, books and screenings, yep. You'd be surprised how well known the site is.... Butane and Rotten made a great thing here.

We're anti-illiteracy! Even though I write so that a dyslexic 6 year old could understand me.
