I have just read on multiple movie sites that Vin Diesel is out and Timothy olyphant has been sighned th Play The hitman from the game. This is very interesting casting and i for one have been waiting for Olyphant to become a star for years now.

Thanks god. Just because Diesel's bald doesn't mean he was right for the role.

I believe there's a rule about not making a thread about this kind of news until it has been reported on the main page.

Pretty much. That, you posted it in the wrong forum, and you also didn't link to the source you got it from.

I love the idea, of some guy, just searching the web endlessly for Olyphant news. More than likely, with cock in hand and tissues next to the mouse.

This could end up being a cool choice. I know most people thought Statham would be the ideal actor but he was almost too obvious. I actually would have liked to have seen Jason Isaacs in the role but Olyphant is the kind of out of left field pick that sounds interesting.

Would you please provide links to these "multiple movie sites" with this news, as I just performed a Google search for "timothy olyphant +hitman" and got nothing, which makes me question the validity of your post.

Umm... burn?!

I'm having a Devin moment, but the run of non-main page related articles (some started by CHUD veterans) in the CHUD.COM MAIN thread is really annoying. I come to this particular forum for articles about the main page, and it's just out of control these last couple of days.

Aside from the main page if you want the most up to date movie news, or hell even real news, forget a regular Google search and go through Google news.

This is what you would have found:

My bad guys, wont happen again. I like the observation from Brian Wehman though.

Diesel and Statham would have both been bad casts for Hitman. Ive always found Olyphant to be wooden - apart from Go and Girl next Door. He certainly is the weakest link in Deadwood and sticks out as sorely as the Aussie doc on House MD, but he won the role - so must be able to do it.

He certainly carries the 'sinister stare' well - immediately showing an improvement on various other baldies. Cant wait to hear the reaction when the first pic appears...cos, we all know theres going to be something wrong.

Can anyone guess the fanboy criticism in advance? My top three pre-emptive precog bets would be:

1.No blue eyes.
2.Too young.
3.Flaming organic webby nipples on his suit.....(and they are the wrong shade of red).

Fuck yeah! Haven't seen an episode of Deadwood, but Olyphant pretty much steals every scene in his movies, gotta love the guy.

how you managed to get the first 3 castings right then confuse Olyphant with Jesse Spencer as "the Aussie doc on House", is beyond me.

As for Olyphant as Hitman, I like it.

I don't think that he was saying the Aussie doc was Olyphant, simply that he feels that Olyphant's Deadwood performance equals the performance of the Aussie character in House.

I think he was saying that they were the same physical beings... from different times, like in Timecop. Better not let them come in contact with each other. Remember what happened to Senator Aaron McComb??? Disastrous.
