Reflections of My Horrid Soul

Thread Starter
In a mirror I would not dare to glare
Afraid of what I would see starring back at me
Would I see my worn torn soul?
The reflection of my horrid soul there to stare?

I would possible see my soul all bruised and scarred
By the awful realities of life's tribulations
A soul which by pain has been marred
A soul which has been ran over by a hundred tons.

A reflection of which I could not be proud
Maybe to look in the mirror and see the truth
Looking as if had been placed in the grim reaper's shroud
Of this I need no proof.

A reflection of a soul gripped by pain
A soul draped in black
Looking back at me is a soul that has nothing to gain
Wanting to hide his face in shame.

The reflection of my soul not a pretty thing
Black and bent by life's unfair game
The awful beast, my tears make him sing
To see my tormented soul, life is to blame.

Thank you. I'd like to close with a reading from The Cult of the Blue Oysters...

With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down

Helpless people on a subway train
Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them

He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town

Oh no, they say hes got to go
Go go godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes tokyo
Go go godzilla, yeah

History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men
Godzilla!

Goodnight everyone and remember= these lovely hooked rugs will be on sale in the lobby:

I bet there's an intersting story behind that. Kind of sorry I missed it. . .

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I think the correct grammar is : "A soul which has been run over by hundred tons"
Just sayin, y'know... so the teacher doesn't knock your mark down to a B.
