I own a number of Christmas comics, and only bust them out in the weeks leading up to Christmas, lest multiple year-round readings diminish the festive atmosphere. They are awesome.

One of my favourite stories is in BATMAN #455-457. In it, random Gothamites suddenly go nuts, put on skull masks, and go on murderous rampages. At one point, a department store Santa grabs some nunchukas and uses them to strangle shoppers. Helping Batman crack the case is Tim Drake, who is also really trying to become the next Robin.
Needless to say, it turns out to be the Scarecrow's doing. Batman is ambushed and, as is par for the course for Batman in the early-'90s, hurt quite badly. Tim rescues him, beats the Scarecrow with a big stick, and earns his Christmas gift from Batman - an adorable Robin outfit! Tears and hugs all round!
This is from the Alan Grant/Norm Breyfogle run, which is pretty much a contender for best run on any comic ever. The whole thing is just very festive and atmospheric. A holiday treat for all! Except for the Scarecrow, who got rather badly pwned.
