In Your Opinion, Who's the Most Underrated Comics Character? - Page 2

Also, speaking of a whole under-rated section of the Marvel universe? The Annihilation series was a real treat too. Sure, the main storyline was a little bit formulaic, but seeing all of these great Marvel space entities again and in great form was really fun. That whole series of books was a who's who of the under-rated heroes. Sure there were some heavy hitters like Silver Surfer and Galactus. But who though that Nova could be cool? Same with Drax? Same with Super Skrull? What a joy to read!

Yeah, the Vision had powers that SHOULD have made him a heavy-hitter. He's never been properly utilized, IMO.

I always like Static, at least in his original, early 90s Milestone Comics incarnation (the Static Shock cartoon was alright, but a little cutesy). True, he was effectively a black version of the teenage Spidey (dealing with high school, family life etc), but he was still a really fun character and distinctive in his own right. How many other characters in comic history zipped around on an electrically-charged dustbin lid rocking a Malcolm X baseball cap?
