Couldn't find a thread for this anywhere.

I wasn't expecting much from the film but I really enjoyed the movie. It certainly isn't a classic, it's not even really a proper slasher movie but more akin to Final Destination in that it is a glorified snufffest. Very little attempt is made to build tension instead deaths are set up and shot in such a way that they become the centrepiece of the film. It's also a charmingly silly movie, it never really takes itself too seriously and even handles the gore in a way which is utterly tongue in cheek.

If you're looking for some surprisingly fesitve eye gouing, icicle impaling, rolling pin beating, and inflamation you might be pleasantly surprised.

I think there are some differences. Like Michelle Tracthenwhateva's final scene is vastly different between the two versions.

I agree with you Spike, went along to watch it more for a laugh than for scares and was pleasantly surprised.
Yes it was filled with all the usual cliches but it used them so brazenly that they were enjoyable.
You could od a lot worse than see this movie.

I just saw this movie and I thought it was great and was also pissed off a little that in the movie they took out scenes that were in the trailer. Maybe they will be extras or what but I hate that when they do it.

Alot of movies do that unfortunately.

Liked the movie but geez, isn't there supposed to be at least one character that you are pulling for to survive? All of the girls in this movie were highly unlikable.

Listen, guy. Anyone else I would've sent a PM to, asking them to be more careful. But practically every one of your posts so far has been trying to spoil movies for people, or bragging about who you know in the industry, so I could care less about respecting you. You need to respect the fact that people don't want to read that shit without a warning. If you had put one before your post, we would've been cool.

It's really not that hard to figure out. Just stop being a dick.

Oh...I hated "Black Christmas" '06 with a passion, but that could be because of my adoration of the original.
