But that looks like something that would actually happen. DTV of course, but yeah...

Okay, the "and the poster designer of WTC II" line on the Torque poster is one my favorite lines in a long time.

Back when one of Turner's networks was doing a CHIPs reunion movie, a friend and I found Jon Wilcox's now-defunct Website and couldn't believe the monument to ego that it was. That, combined with the mockery that Patrick Swayze deserves, we started making fake sequel posters on Friday afternoons when we needed a break from the grind.

While I can't compete with myers for unintended awfulness, I hope you find some enjoyment from these.

It was all fun and games but now you just crapped on my favorite hero.

You, sir, can go to hell.

In all seriousness, weren't they going to make a Stretch Armstrong movie?

And these posters seriously suck.

Forgive me.
Let's be fair here- the idea of Iron Man emerging from the clouds is a nice teaser, even if that poster totally blows.

That being said, Myers, these aren't very good. But I urge you to keep posting them- perhaps you will improve by accident.
The Iron Man poster seems limited by Myer's choice of artwork. If he would have found a high rez pic, it wouldn't be so off-putting to have such a giant poster with so small a center of focus. Personally, I would have digitally manipulated that one pic with Tony Stark holding his helmet.
Come on, you have to admit that this one is at least a movie that you'd like to see:

I think plenty of feedback has been offered already. But just to drive the point home:

Your ideas suck.

Your execution of those ideas suck.

Your photoshop skills suck.

Your ability to listen to criticism sucks.

You provide no personal style. You are doing nothing new. Everyone of these posters looks like something that I would actually see in the theater or at Blockbuster (not a compliment, by the way). Which means: A) You actually think that Hollywood's shitty marketing campaigns are something to aspire to, and, B) You feel no need to drive the art or industry forward or do anything new or out of the ordinary.

How's that sum it up for you?
Myers, let me ask you something.

Which have been your favorite posters of the last 20 or so years? And why.

Oh, and no sequels.

Instead we can all enjoy this awesome poster I made myself:

I was also hard at work making this one:

I really love poltergeist.
Masterpiece? HAHAHAHA! I'm starting to get the inkling that, not only do these dude's posters suck, his taste in film is worse.
Once again, you don't have a center of focus. Some fucking snowy mountains? C'mon, that is completely uninteresting and tells me nothing about the movie.

TORQUE 2.0 was a stab in that direction, using MOTION BLUR as the sub-title. It's one of the most overused and cliché gimmicks in Photoshop's bad movie poster toolbox.

Holy. Fuck.
yeah, the dude has 10 pages of movie posters. We've at least short circuited to the ones that were done on Dec. 30.

These are the most recent work so if you want to rag on it, the response can't be "I did those 4 months ago ... y u b hating."
Where are you finding this shit? Emphasis on...well, you know.
