Well it has a killer tagline, that's for sure...

I haven't actually seen the movie, but I would really like to. The director remade the film in the States with Ewan McGregor and Nick Nolte. That version had it's flaws, but it was creepy and I really dug it.

Wow somehow I never knew the two movies were connected.I always see Nightwatch on cable and hope it's the Danish one,but it's always Ewan's face i see.Once my parents convinced me to come out of my room and move on with my life I decided I'd never make that mistake again.

Wow Lauren Graham's in the remake? On demand, don't fail me now.

I've seen it. Wouldn't call it a horror/slasher movie so much as a thriller, although at the end it does get a little graphic. Certainly not the greatest movie I've ever seen, but it does have a few good moments and a clever, twisted idea or two.

Yeah, I liked it a lot. The remake suffers by simply being a xerox (and naturally, a bit less perverse), though the characters are more interesting- I believe the American version was co-written by Stephen Soderbergh. Also, it's got Nick Nolte, and who doesn't love some Nick Nolte?

The original is genuinely creepy and pretty slick. Definitely worth a rental.
