Any thoughts or predictions?

Though I'd love to comment on this, my team's gotta watch this at the local bar in the morning and pay $20 to watch a game. Though we do get a good sized breakfast supposedly...

So you guys let me know you're predictions.

Isn't England on really bad form of late?

My guess would be France winning this time around.

On current form Ireland look like the winners. They are the number 2 team behind the All Blacks. France might have a chance if they are consistent.

England won't win it but they will be better than their recent form.

England stronger than last year

Amen to that. A resurgent Johnny Wilkinson and Mike Tindall, both Andy Farrell and Martin Corry solid, Harry Ellis putting last year behind him with an excellent, sniping performance at scrum half. England looked good value even though the Scots were robbed with the Wilkinson try.

Brian Ashton, the new England coach, came over very well in his pre-match interview. I just don't think he is going to labour under the kind of expectation his predecessor did, as well as Robinson's misguided attempts to follow Woodward's coaching and managerial style.

France hammered Italy - no real suprise there, but the Gauls looked a tough team. The Wales/Ireland match was close, but Ireland have been tipped as the ones most likely to rob France of the title.

Frankly, it'll be enough for me to be able to look forward to the England matches with more than just cold dread.

Hey, on East Coast you get the games at 9:30... we get them at 6:30. We have a $20 cover, and have to PAY for our breakfast.

I did Super 14 last weekend instead, since I was up until 2 am Saturday working, and getting back up by 5 to drive to the sportsbar was to much to ask. Next weekend is USA Sevens. So how were the early matches? They aren't on Mediazone.
