And I didn't say it was anywhere in my post.

I agree the first two have style, but what I was saying was that you could add a bit more style to the next installment without it being shot like a Michael Bay film.

The point of my post was that there is a thin line you can walk between being good stylized and bad stylized(for example, I thought CRANK hits both categories, being cool at times, and slightly annoying at other times).

The WGA has very strict regulations concerning sole screenwriting credit. If his name is the only name on it, he was judged to have contributed a major percentage of the material that was in the final shooting script. I don't doubt that other people had a hand in shaping it, but I also don't doubt that the lion's share of what we heard was his doing. And that includes the incredibly clunky opening and closing narration.
