Mobilize for Peace January 27

On Saturday, January 27, numerous events are happening across the US that will give people a chance to stand up to the powers that be and allow their voices to join with other voices demanding an end to the ongoing tragedy in Iraq.

This is, after all, a democracy, and the current escalation "strategy" doesn't reflect everybody's views on what needs to be done about it.

Definitely plan on going to this one. The ANSWER rally a few months ago was a little underwhelming, so hopefully this one will have a larger turnout. [/dirty fucking hippie]

Thanks, yt. I've been wondering when there was going to be another event like this in my area. Unfortunately, the nearest are Toledo and Columbus, and as a non-driver, that doesn't look like an option.

Still, I stand with you in internet solidarity or something.
