The only thing about that trailer that gives me a Troma vibe is the lousy production values. Troma's films are actually smartly scripted and made, just bizarrely excessive. I don't think Boll could achieve that in his wildest dreams.

Well done to the marketing guys though, for knowing that the only way to sell this piece of shit was to rely on Boll's reputation as some savant retard filmmaker.

The marketing department is cribbing. Like Quarant said, they are the ones to be commended for adding something to trailer (the Troma vibe) that surely isn't in the movie.

For those who didn't click the above link, it's to a glowing review from a credible source. It would be interesting to see some other people's reactions to this. The opening scene is linked to in that article. It's in dire taste, but there's a Mad Magazine quality to it that was somewhat surprising. I want to see this. (May God have mercy on my soul.)

I played through almost the entire game, and man did it suck. My computer crashed when the "apocalypse" happened, it was raining cats and blood or some shit. The Waco, TX level had me cracking up though.

That's the reason I've loved him from the beginning. He enjoys being hated and is making a living from it. What better way to prove people wrong? He's basically saying, yes, I'm the worst and most offensive filmmaker of my generation, what are you going to fucking do about it?
