I second the love for Katharine McPhee.

And Kate Winslet has always been a crush. It does seem like she's lost a little weight but remember that she's only 31. When she did TITANIC she was only, what, 20? 21? I think she's just lost the last of her baby fat.
Winslet definitely lost some weight, which is a damn shame. I don't think there has ever been a more gorgeous woman than Winslet in Titanic.

As for other stick figures, sure, people can be naturally very slim (like Keira), but when you start seeing their ribs sticking out, it's gone too far.
I always thought Winslet was a little chubby to be playing opposite Dicaprio in Titanic. Sort of like how Dunst seemed a little plain to be playing Mary Jane. But I guess they both turned out to be successful casting choices so what do I know.
So, Chris, what's the name of that Victoria Secret model?... For research... purposes... yeah...
America Ferrera isn't hot. Stop the madness, people.
Jesus, people thought Winslet was "chubby" in TITANIC? No wonder eating disorders are so rampant in today's society.

We're unfortunately not on a first name basis, but she and many of her friends can be found on their website.

It's Marisa Miller. Used to be a Perfect 10 model (which means topless pics abound).
Actually, topless pics of Marisa aren't abundant, but they do exist. For the most part you'll have to make do with Victoria's Secret soft-porn goodness.

Oh really? (Hope no one minds the bareness of breasts)

Well played.
When I think of the sort of body I like, the celebrity that comes to mind is the singer of Evanescence, Amy Lee. I can't stand their music but she is hot. And she doesn't care about this exessive losing weight crap.

QFT. Shorter women with dark hair and curves.....yummmmmmm.
I love how people in this thread seem incapable of acknowledging that different men find different types of women attractive. Be a pretty fucked-up world otherwise, wouldn't it?
I'm not sure where you're getting that impression.

Sweetie, if you were looking at her knees....

Thank you....

I've heard interviews with many models talking about Marisa Miller having the perfect body.
I didn't even realize she had legs.

I'm not into blondes usually but damn, she's fine! Great stomach and nice legs, right up my alley.

25 Points for Gryffindor...uhm...nekkerbee

I think they're right.

In addition to some tig ol' bitties, she's got some serious junk in the trunk...

And she surfs?!

And some unairbrushed photos. Check out the last one, where she's with 2 other models. She looks quite a bit better than them, if you ask me...

(Sorry if this is too many pictures - just thought I'd provide some eye candy)
Eye candy works for me, man. Thanks!

Nigella Lawson.

Oh hell yes. I was thoroughly in love with her for a while there. You know what it takes to make me watch a cooking show? Her.
I used to watch her show for the soothing affect, she was like a defacto Bob "Happy Little Trees" Ross, difference being that I never masturbated to Bob Ross.

Ew! I never wanted to think of masturbation and Bob Ross at the same time! Ick!

Rachael Ray also has some nice curves. If only she didn't sound like a forty-year-old drag queen.

Welcome to the show, everybody.

We're going to flash our tools across the bottom of the screen so you can feel free to try this at home. (Closed bathroom door...March 1993 issue of SWANK...squirrel...laptop computer with wireless...Cloris Leachman Fan Page URL...noose and plastic bag...grapefruit...)

We're gonna start today with a picture from Cloris Leachman's website...There's a still of her from THE GIANT OF THUNDER MOUNTAIN...now, make sure you're looking at Ms. Leachman and not the Giant...You know, I had the nicest viewer write a letter the other day, thanking me for pointing out what not to look at...He had some trouble during the Hot Chicks at the Scenes of Car Accidents episode last month...I say that's fine, my friend, but if the sight of a man's intestines on the windshield of a 1982 Datsun gets you going, you go right ahead and do it...Nooooooow, back to Ms. Leachman...

Look at that, that's a happy little erection. Why don't we apply some lotion...riiiiiiiiiight theeeere....Now, I happen to like a lot of lotion, but the beauty of this is that you can do just aaaaaaaaany amount of lotion you like...Do you like some friction?...well you go right ahead, because it's allllllllll up to you....

*bows down at the Altar of Heigl*

I note that it didn't take long into what I'll loosely call the discussion until people started talking about models and TV chefs. Which sort of suggests that there aren't that many truly voluptuous role models to be found in the entertainment biz in general.

Oh, and another model people might have forgotten, Sophie Dahl. I think she might have slimmed down since this was taken, though.

When did Heigl get that curvy? She usually only looks buxom because she's standing next to the skeletal Pompeo and the pre-pubescent bodied Sandra Oh.
No, she's always looked that way. Maxim did a spread on her back when she was on Roswell, and she was quite stacked.

Woof. She doesn't look attractive in any of those pics. Her last hurrah was in AMERICAN PIE. From then on it was downhill. Why do you think we only saw her inside the car at the end of AMERICAN PIE 2?

And we're all in agreement that Queen Latifah not being attractive? There's really nothing sexy about the Pizza Hut spokeswoman.
Jennifer Connelly in the Rocketeer, Christina Applegate, Rosario Dawson, and Denise Richards are all well rounded actresses.
Ditto. I would jump on Queen Latifah like a fleshy trampoline.

Edit: She's not a pox on every movie, either. She was great in Chicago.
James Coburn.

I'm sorry I think I misunderstood the point of this thread?

Connely circa Dark Water was too skinny so she is going along "natural busty nowadays skinny but still "hot" cause those used to be huge". there are tons of examples.

Diane Lane at Must love dogs is a gorgeous example of a cool lady. Add Gugino circa Sin City and *infamous* Threshold.
I think there's a difference between a well stacked woman and someone who is voluptuous precisely because she has meat on her bones. Most of the women people are talking about in this thread have the smallest waists imaginable and pretty thin bodies save for T&A. Jennifer Hudson looks great in that photo Gabriel posted. America Ferrera wears a size 6 and people are calling her chubby. Tyra Banks, who is 5'10", recently was ridiculed as fat when she hit 150 pounds. It has been estimated that Marilyn Monroe, largely considered the epitome of sex symbols, would wear a size 6 in contemporary measurements. It's kind of silly to blast actresses for being too skinny and then only talk about women who can fit into a size 4 (Hollywood's standard size).

I have to agree. 75% of the people talked about in this thread are not voluptuous. Women like Heigl and Miller are emphatically not voluptuous. If it makes it any easier for the cerebrally-challenged among you, a voluptuous woman might have - gasp! - a little bit of a belly as well as some curves, i.e., they look like normal women. And in fact, a propos the thread title, there are actually very few truly high-visibility voluptuous role models in the entertainment industry.
I believe this is what Gabriel was referring to:

Come on Bellucci while not the best example of what you were saying has a belly, that lucky Cassel played with it at Irreversible indeed. With Gugino is just the same. I was implying that most girls like Connely derail into a skinnier body, while they have plenty of resources to keep a normal (so good) one.
