Blade Question

Thread Starter
There's something I've always wondered about Blade 2. At the end of the movie when Skud comes out as a double agent...Blade says he's known about him since they turned him. Assuming that happened prior to the movie, why would Blade keep a double agent in his ranks? It's never made sense to me...

Maybe Blade was a fan of The Godfather?

Possibly because David Goyer has a tendency to not think things through completely. See Blade Trinity.

Feed the vampires bad information?

Yeah, I assumed that Blade was using Skud's being a mole to his advantage--hence why he constantly kept Skud out of the loop on what he was up to.

So you're one of those discriminating film viewers, then.

In the first Blade they need a certain amount of vampire elders to complete the ritual. One of them mouths off so the chick henchman kills him, but the ritual is still completed successfully.

It's a safe thing to say Goyer doesn't really think these movies through.

Because the Daywalker liked the idea of having a white AND familiar (vamp slave) lackey, so he could stick-it-to-the-man 2X!

I think a combination of the above, plus, with Whistler gone, he needed a techie around to keep making him new weapons.

There really isn't a better and more accurate answer than this.
