This Fall on HBO--Pacman Jones' "Entourage"

i would just like to say that Mike Nolan being able to wear a suit for home games was a great move on Goodell's part. Fuck reebok. They paid 250 million for the rights to clothe the personnel but are going to throw a hissy fit over two guys wearing suits?

I think that alone will push this team into the playoffs...oh and that frank gore guy is pretty good too.
Reebok provides the suits for Nolan and Del Rio, and was pretty much behind them being able to wear them so far as I was aware. It was more a typical NFL head-up-their-collective-ass moment.

Raider fans are so touchy. He won't be a Raider. He'll go to the Bengals first and when he's washed up has been he'll join the Raiders.

Apparently there's a report on the radio that Tank Johnson was picked up on a DUI.

Back to jail he goes!
He was arrested for "DUI Impaired to the Slightest Degree."

Slightest Degree being that there is probably cause that he was impaired (from how I understand the statute, there is no need for a BAC reading under this offense). They took a blood test, which will come back in two weeks to see if they'll charge him with a more serious offense.
Can these blood tests find weed in the system? Or can they not even look for it? Considering he's a felon less than a month out of jail, I'd think they could test for anything, but I'm not a lawyer.

Not to be content with Simms, Garcia, Gradowski, and the rights to Plummer, Tampa Bay met with Daunte Culpepper yesterday. I wonder if Gruden would have 14 QBs on his fantasy team.

Or if the plan is to trade Simms to Atlanta, as some are speculating.

What, a lefty to replace a lefty? You mean Joey Harrington and Chris Redman aren't the answer at backup?

Briggs signs 1 year deal with Bears
Quote:
Two-time Pro Bowl weakside linebacker Lance Briggs, who was unable this spring to reach a long-term deal with the Chicago Bears as a designated franchise player, on Wednesday agreed to sign the one-year qualifying offer of $7.206 million that accompanies the tag, and report to camp on Thursday.
Plus Tillman and Vasher signed up too. Heard rumors Bears are still talking long term deal that they couldn't do now because of NFL rules.

Hey, the Jags signed a new QB! No, it's not Daunte Culpepper, but another former high draft pick--Tim Couch.

Hmm, that gives the Culpepper to Tampa rumors a little more oomph.

The San Francisco chronicle is reporting that Bill Walsh died this morning. RIP, offense innovator and genius drafter of Montana and Rice.

The Raiders have signed Culpepper. It looks like Russell won't be playing this year, at all, seeing how he's already behind because of his holdout. I believe McCown will start the year off with Culpepper taking over around mid season when he learns the offense, and if he ever can get healthy. I wonder what they're gonna do with Walter?
