Was supposed to be out today but so far I've had no luck finding it in stores. Anybody spotted it?

I was planning on going out in a bit to pick it up and the Hellboy 'toon. I'll let you know if I get ahold of one.

Can't wait to get this disc!

Hey, Bobble, where ya been?!

Holidays in retail + finding an internship = little in the way of MB time. I've had to restrict myself to random lurking for a bit, but I'm always here for the main page. You bastards can't shake me that easily.

Was Screw On Head just a one shot? I was waiting to see if Sci-Fi was going to pick up the series.

Yeah. I found it at Wal-Mart. It was sitting right next to the Hellboy animated double feature (Sword of Stones and Black Wedding).

But the Head is just ~25 minutes long, right? Is there any additional content?

45 minutes. There's not too many extras but there's a Mignola commentary and a featurette.... plus it comes with a little mini-comic. The disc is pretty cheap though, thankfully.

hmmm. you might be right. The wording threw me off: Exclusive includes "Hellboy Animated: Sword Of Storms" and "Hellboy Animated: The Black Wedding" Comic

So, yeah, I guess it is.

It is, and it's ok (read a friend's copy), but I opted for the version Best Buy had wth the little action figures to avoid breaking my anti-Wal-Mart vow (yes, I'm one of THOSE people). They had plenty of Screw-On Head, too, by the way.

Where'd the 45 minute figure come from? Box says 22, and Mignola's not on the commentary.

Whoa, you're right. Press release I got said 42 minutes. Maybe that's for the whole disc.

Meh, I'm not too hip to buy something on dvd that they put for free on the internet last year.

Except when it's GREAT.

(and you have an affinity for those shiny discs)
