Two Sequels to Feast On?

Great news. The 1st was a blast!

While I enjoyed the first film, I don't know about this. It kind of bugs me that it's become such a foregone conclusion that every horror film is actually an audition for a franchise. Does nobody make one good movie and move on anymore?

You know I still haven't gotten around to seeing Feast. Tell me is it at least worth a rent.

Saw it in the theaters. Bought it on dvd.

Don't read many reviews on CHUD & CC? The flick was reviewed atleast 4 times...

I really didn't care much for it before, so I skipped on reading the reviews. Just attribute it to just being a lazy, and not feeling like looking for the reviews.

This is some great news. I bought the first one blind and loved it. Passed it around to some friends and they all loved it as well. As long as they can keep up the same pace with the sequels and just get goofier and gorier then I'm all for it.

If it gets any goofier, it will be an episode of Animaniacs.

wow. i finally got around to seeing this and man does it stink. It starts really strong and falls apart really fast. then you are just left with something that you really can't wait for it to end...with a few good chuckles here and there, admittedly. The idea of sequels doesn't surprise me though, it's the kind of movie that has no structure or point anyway, so spinning off sequels requires no thought at all.

I can see it already...part two will be a rehash of this one while part three takes place in the wild west to show the origin of the creatures.

I'm also with the Darkmite/Alex crowd, because I thought this flick was great. It's obviously not cerebral horror but instead a low-budget balls-to-the wall go for broke throwback to when horror movies used to be fun.

You are correct though on it having little if no structure, but I see that as a benefit. A sequel can take damn near any direction, so let's wait for one before passing judgment. As long as they keep up a breakneck roller coaster pacing and spitting in the face of conventional PG-13 shlock remake
conventions, I'm in.

Animaniacs with huge, quivering Monster Cock.

EDIT: So I could "bold" Monster Cock.

But will they let Gulager direct it again?

If they do, I am all for this. He might be a little neurotic - ok, a lot - but he's got a good eye.

I'd like to see him get something else.

I'd guess that a lot of good directors are people you wouldn't want to share a studio apartment with. After everything I've read about Terry Gilliam, I think he'd drive me up a wall.

As much as I'm interested in seeing a follow-up, 1stly I'd like to see the unreleased Project Greenlight dvd for that season.

no thanks.
