Alex, excellent interview. I thought the lead in was a little distracting, but other than that, great job.
I'm a little concerned by his comments, though, in regards to 'An American Crime.' It seems to me that he thinks that movie plays with the truth of what happened, from what I've read, it does seem to be a pretty accurate account. And while the tire iron incident that's the climax to the Ketchum novel personally disturbed me more than anything in the Likens case, I think that "American Crime" has the potential to be more frightening because the audience would be watching the film with the knowledge that this actually happened. So I'm not quite sure what he was suggesting by saying that he felt Ketchum's fictional account was "better" than the crime itself.
"Girl Next Door" and "American Crime" will probably get little to no play around here, but I'm anticipating both.
