Pretty neat. 2 questions:
1. Why isn't it in B & W like the originals you're paying homage to?
2. Did you know that Bucky was the name of Capt. America's old sidekick?

Dude, nice.

Although your DoP did a really nice job with the colours and the shadows I agree that it should have been in B&W.

Good luck with the feature. It's always hard to sustain the weird level of homage and newness that makes these kind of films work. (It's why Raiders is such a good flick)

As for a new name for The Skull, that's a tough one because The Skull sounds so damn good when said with a faux-German accent. I'd stick with that unless someone forces you to change it ie) copyright.

My other recommendation is that I'd get a good fight choreographer. The stuff in the serial format works but over an hour and a half you'll need to up the ante in each action scene to build suspense. A good fight choreographer will help with that.

Howbout "Das Skull" to give it a German flavor? "Das Schädel" would be too unrecognizable if put in complete German.

Better yet, throw an unnecessary Umlaut over the "U".

Das Sküll!

And always with an exclamation point because it just demands to be shouted!

"Sacrebleu!"

Enjoyed it....though some scenes seemed a bit bright. Is this the first link of any redeeming value in this particular forum? Maybe...

The German guy was great. The crossbow bit was hysterical.

Website?
